Peter Markos, the director of our practice, was recently interviewed by Sharon Martin from Midlands Living about the practice's design for sustainable timber-framed eco-homes.

Eco-friendly home designs in timber are becoming increasingly popular due to their sustainability and energy efficiency. Timber is a renewable resource that can be sourced from responsibly managed forests, making it a more environmentally friendly building material compared to traditional materials like concrete or steel. Timber homes also have a smaller carbon footprint, as they require less energy to produce and are more efficient in terms of insulation and energy usage.
